Don't judge a book by it's cover. It might look a little rough around the edges but once you get inside you'll love the atmosphere. The food tastes amazing and the staff are friendly and helpful. They even gave our table free starters on the house, couldn't ask for anything more!
The food was great, the sweet coconut rice was exactly what I was hoping it was, and when they heard it was my birthday from my dad when he booked it, they went above and beyond, and made my birthday feel like it was my birthday for once They went absolutely above and beyond with the birthday celebration, and brought out a cake with sparklers and candles on it, and I had a card from the team, and a Singh beer alongside it. It really rounded up the night and made it special. Pictures are attached of the card as well In the pictures I had Curry Salmon (orange), and I'm not sure what my Brother had (red), but it looked great. (The pictures were taken partway through the meal so bites had already been taken haha)
I visit often..the staff are always so polite and accommodating to your needs. I was once unwell & one of the waiters made me a special Nepalese tea to soothe my throat. The food is always wonderful and delicious.. highly recommend this authentic restaurant.
Really lovely owner and staff with a great manner towards our young children, great Nepalese music in the background they was pleasant but not intrusive and very nice food with some interesting and delicious flavours - more interesting flavours than you might typically get which we appreciated. We came in the late afternoon and it was a very nice relaxed atmosphere.
We've been to the Gurkha several times and it's always very good. The staff are always so welcoming, they are also so child friendly too. We'll continue to visit the Gurkha as it's always a pleasure - looking forward to our next visit!
Rare evening out with my Wife as we normally come with whole family, The restaurant was a nice calm atmosphere and the food and service were both excellent and I would highly recommend a visit.

I love this place. I can not fault the food both eating in and taking away. I am never disappointed in the quality and taste. When eating in the service is 10/10 and their take away food is as good as if I was eating in the restaurant.
